Our first open training program has officially come to an end, and what a journey it’s been.

Across months of learning, connection, and practice, we talked, shared, laughed, and reflected together. Over 9 hours of theory and experiential practice, we explored what it truly means to stay resilient in the face of stress, change, and difficult conversations, the realities people managers navigate every day.

A Program Designed for Real Life

This open training was built as a series of three experiential learning modules (3 hours each), designed specifically for people managers to practice the exact skills they need most, not just discuss them.

  • Module 1: Coping with Stress- Practical, science-backed tools to manage your energy and lead teams without burning out. You’ll learn what triggers stress, how to stop it from spreading through your team, and simple routines you can use every day.

  • Module 2: The Art of Tough Conversations - A hands-on session that teaches a structured approach to preparing and running high-stakes conversations such as performance, conduct, or misalignment, while preserving trust.

  • Module 3: Embracing Change - An interactive session that helps managers lead teams through transition. Recognize own and others' common reactions towards change, and use practical tools to make the best out of the transition.

The modules were delivered one per month, allowing participants the time and space to apply what they learned between sessions and return with real experiences to reflect on together.

Skills for the Future Workplace

These focus areas are not accidental. According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report, skills such as stress management, communication, and adaptability are among the core capabilities required for the future workplace.

As business models evolve and technology continues to reshape how we work, these human skills are essential to safeguarding the competitive advantage of both organizations and individuals.

Learning From Each Other

What made this program truly special was the group itself.

Participants came from different industries and roles, including organizations such as Diana Shipping Services, WHEN Hub, and HellenicQ Energy, creating a rich mix of perspectives and lived experiences. The diversity in the room turned every discussion into a deeper learning opportunity.

True to Brave Owl’s approach, the sessions were not about passive listening. They were helpful, engaging, and interactive, shaped by real challenges brought into the room by the participants themselves.

Gratitude and What’s Next

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for your openness, trust, and energy throughout this experience. Your willingness to show up fully is what made this program meaningful.

A special thank you as well to WHEN Hub, for hosting us and creating the perfect space for learning, reflection, and connection 💜
